Hi guys, i made this post just to tell that right now we´re (me and elnegro492003), the game has tons of text, but we are going speedy with the translation, i don´t have the guts to say the accurate date when we will release the translation, but will be in a matter of months, here are some screenshots of our work:

how DO you fan-translators do it??

How does one start with these things. Opening these things with compilers or whatever and stuff, figuring out what programming language was used, fit english font in a much smaller space where there used to be JP font etc etc.

I'm not asking for details like I wanna do something like this myself (the thought alone is hilarious ) but I wanna know what hellish steps you guys go through to achieve these translations

I've been eager to play this game ever since it came out, and you just might make this poor man's wish come true. More power to you.

Well, first of all we choose a japanese game to translate, and after that we just need to find the files in the iso that contains the text, we use hexeditors and compilers for edit and view the text using .tbl files for japanese is the Shift J, also we need to state if a game has a font table of its own or we have to reinsert it, and wee need to know too the commands that game uses for example the hex code in namco x capcom to insert a new line is ($0A), some uses codes of their own and you have to understand the routine.

No special tools for ps2 have been made to translate, so we use compilers that are made for snes roms, so sometimes we run in to a problem because these tools crashes due to the ammount of bytes in a file, then we have to cut the file in parts in order to see it properly (and to load the content in the hexeditor).

It´s well kinda difficult at the start but someone that might have been translating a rom will understand without a problem.

Got more news, this FMV will be included in our translation:

Right now we`re strugglin to insert the video in the game, and got some more problems within the dialogue taht needs to be fixed, but we will manage to do it for sure

If you guys for whatever dont finish, be sure to release it and not leave us hanging like some translation groups do. Good job so far though

Thanks, well release a patch if project is finished or not, we just want to release a patch without game glitches, but currently there are some glitches in the game dialogue that needs to be fixed ASAP.
