I never knew my dad, and growing up in the foster homes, they were run by females, so I never had a father figure to guide me. I always wished that I had.

My uncle Bob is one of the best examples of a fine human being that you'll ever meet, and I consider him something of a father figure. That's not the same though. I could've benefited for having one.
