MGS games have more action than the Splinter Cell games. I don't really look at them as being the same.

My 'gun games' normally lean toward Goldeneye 64, Quake, Half Life, Doom, Unreal, etc.

I never enjoyed Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, etc.
