Happens to me, too, when someone makes a post when I'm in the thread, and that that post comes in after the one I clicked to see.
If that makes sense.
Like, I click the link to post 1000, and while replying to it or while reading it, someone makes post 1001. When I click out, the thread will still show up as unread, even though I refreshed the browser and read 1001.
