Haven't played RE4. Hell, have just played a bit of the first one. Not a big fan of survival-horror games.

RE4 is an action game.

Anyone who calls RE4 survival horror is mentally ill.

You're given a crapload of ammo, a shitload of items, and so many enemies to kill it's laughable.

The first few levels feel a lot closer to the old zombie movies (barricading doors, huge groups of enemies, just plowing everything down with a shotgun, etc.), despite the major lack of zombies.

It's a game that really should be played whether or not you like the series. It's just awesome.
