If the head is rotted off (it is an exaust, so that happens), then you need to snip the bolt to get it apart.
I also carry them in case I get called out for work, and I have to pull a tiolet. The bolts that hold a toilet to the floor rust out a lot, and putting a wrench or socket on them is useless. Most of the time you can't even get them loose with ChannelLocks. So, I cut the nut in two, and pull the toilet, and replace the bolts when I'm done.
So...new computer, only 2-3 weeks old...

I do apartment maintenance. I pretty much fix anything that's inside a house: furnace, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, etc.
About 15 years ago, I was a tire tech. I changed tires on Semi Trucks, farm tractors, combines...stuff like that. We all know I'm short, and people use to laugh at me when I'd show up to change a combine tire by myself. I had a crane in the back of the truck, and the tires were so big, only one tire would fit in my service truck. But I changed them fine...you just have to know how to do it
Before that, I was a mechanic for about 6 years. I was A.S.E. certified and all that.
