If anyone needs me don't even try to bother me, I'll be playing some FF XII.

Or, and this is a radical concept, but those may just be the sort of games he likes. I have just about every one of those games in my collection as well, but they don't define me as a "mainstream gamer", do they?

Also, I'm pretty sure that if he were a mainstream gamer, he wouldn't be asking for suggestions, and instead would've just run out and bought another game that fits your definition of what a mainstream gamer would play.

    PS2.

I mean you're playing some major mainstream stuff. And since you didn't enjoy FF12, suggesting RPG's is kind of hard, seeing as you seem to prefer a bit of polish and stuff instead of menus, level building, and customization.

Uh, yeah. Tekken 5 would probably be a good move. Soul Calibur 2 or 3? I preferred 3, but a few people go for 2. I don't recall 3 being released on anything other than the PS2, so that might be a good idea.

I make no promises, but it's a distinct possibility that you'll be allowed to cull whoever hasn't been chosen for ascension. I'm still working out the details.

I'd be interested in a place, provided that place doesn't involve getting violently sodomized by the pit beast. Because if that's the position, you can go fuck yourself with the blade end of the spear of the chosen one.
The pit beast, aka. Crusher, isn't going to be allowed to sodomize the chosen. He will, however, be given free reign to fuck the fallen. Fuck them right up the ass even, if he so chooses.

You're part of the chosen, so you're safe.

    Or that.

Yeah, I would suggest that if you're out for a fighting game, you might wanna give Soul Calibur III a try. It's awesome, or so I've been told. LOL and all that.

I think the staff are all still arguing and this April fool's joke is just an excuse to explain the incompetent staff...

Yeah, we're all a bunch of farm-raised retards, sitting 'round drooling on ourselves. We only make a move when we're able to tear our attention away from something shiny long enough to do it, and we generally just throw sharp sticks and rocks at one another 'cause we don't know any better.

This is totally just a cover.

Yeah, I'm actually genuinely disappointed about that. I needs me some Admin powers!

Actually, I found it pretty funny. Besides, I'm sure everyone's used to feeling like an idiot on this day by now. As the years have gone on, I've made a point of not taking anything on April the 1st too seriously.

The one a few years back (where Riskbreaker / TrancedTidus took over the forum) annoyed me more, as it got in the way too much. This one was nice and unintrusive (well...Borly notwithstanding ), and led to some pretty funny threads.

He does. He totally does. When one of us tries to break off and show that we've got a little something going on upstairs, he starts bitching about how people didn't show no gumption back in the "good 'ole days", and were happy just to do what they were told without raisin' no lip.

    I don't get it.

Actually. I like a lot of RPGs, just FFXII didn't float my boat.

Yeah, I remember that one. I wasn't here for it, but you guys let me know what was going on. Or did I get let back in shortly after? Anyway, it seemed pretty stupid, and too many good people got messed around in the crossfire.

That, and it was far from being plausible, and generally stuff that seems like too much of a coincidence to be real, isn't.
