    I don't know if I want to spend any money to fix this. It's not really that bad when I plug my headphones straight into the comupter. Is it normal to hear some sound when nothing is supposed to be making noise though?

    EDIT: It also only occurs when I have the volume up pretty loud. I don't know if that is normal or if a new soundcard would fix that.
