The telephone rings in the principal's office at a school.

"Hello, this is Dunn Elementary," answers the principal.

"Hi. Jimmy won't be able to come to school all next week," replies the voice.

"Well, what seems to be the problem with him?"

"We are all going on a family vacation," says the voice, "I hope it is all right."

"I guess that would be fine," says the principal. "May I ask who is calling?"

    "Sure. This is my father!"
I don't wanna talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper! I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!

It's great. I don't know if it is the 'freshness' I perceive because I had never seen it before, or just that it's an incredibly well done story about the first generation of Warp travel.

    At any rate, it's good

I always enjoy shows like that, where they lay the groundwork for already established stuff. That's why, despite the fact that they sucked, I enjoyed the Star Wars prequals. I enjoyed the concepts, at any rate. The movies were shitty.
