Sounds like a cool guy, and that will be fun show.

Today, my first day of classes, a friend whom I hadn't seen in some time told me that his BM band will be playing in Queens next month. I still haven't met up with those dudes that play in a Necrophagist/Decapitated-influenced band. I'm fixing up my guitar later today(I broke a part so I had to get a new one), so I'll finally get down to some whammy bar solos.

I enjoyed the gig, though I had to leave early, the noise and hash knocked me out lol, but I think I did well seeing as it was my first gig evar, I'll have to note that next time and not bring such heavy clothes

So who's are going to Wacken this year, the line up for it is looking pretty good so far (also some shitty bands like Bullet for my Valentine ):

    Belphegor
    ChthoniC
    Disillusion
    Enslaved
    Immortal
    Moonsorrow
    Municipal Waste
    Vader

Well those are the bands I'm looking to see.

Any Agalloch fans here? Just found out about them yesterday, and oh man, they're fucking awesome. Check them out if you're a fan of stuff like Opeth. "The Mantle" is one of the best albums I've ever heard.

Not really a fan of their latest album, but their early material is no doubt a masterpiece. Pale Folklore and some parts of The Mantle to be specific. A band that oozes quality to say the least; the forestry atmosphere they create with their music is unlike any other band's.

The Mantle is one of my favourites as well, fucking love that one (I Am The Wooden Doors <3). Pale Folklore is awesome too, and Ashes Against The Grain ain't that bad too.

Anyone else dissapointed of Pain of Salvation's "Scarsick"? The only song that I really like so far is Disco Queen.

So I'm listening to the new Moonsorrow and I must say it's fucking amazing. Anyone else agree?

Also, Keep of Kalessin are awesome.

AATG may be no Mantle, but it's certainly a standout record...
