iTunes only sucks if you can't tag your music properly (oh well, that's how I see itOriginally Posted by Tosca

well I tag all my music fine. It's just a fact that it takes up more system resources than other software that does the same thing. But ohh it looks pretty right? heh. Another thing with the new version is QT, I know a lot of windows user don't even need or want it on their system, but guess what it comes with iTunes so you don't get a choice.
Can iTunes even handle APEv2 tags...?

I'm not sure myself, I really doubt it though.
We have two iPods in the house, and I can agree iTunes does, in fact, suck. It takes forever to see the iPod, is finicky about copying some types of files, the video management in 5 is atrocious (I haven't played with 6), too. I mean it lumps your videos in there with your songs, doesn't easily let you categorize them, and most of them time with auto-sync doesn't move them over.
It's easy enough to slap songs onto the iPod with though, so I do use it. Now if it wouldn't take 5 minutes to close out. ;; (Psst, Jedi-chan, you know you want a real iPod~)
Damn right, it isn't very messy like other programs I've used (and it doesn't hog as much resources as MMJB. WinAmp is okay, but too simple for meOriginally Posted by Tosca
). I also like it how it can sort my music into it's own, specified folder with all the mp3's having the same type of tags. Smart-playlists is also great.
So, am I the only one who uses iTunes and love it here?![]()
