Actually, I'm thankful that this particular thread is still open to members with low post counts. It feels ridiculous that I can't enter the trading post to browse or edit my own posts. If the problem's about link stealing, they should restrict access to only those threads that would be adversely affected by it, instead of closing off the subforum entirely.

Why is this?

All Dreamcast Lightguns are VGA compatable and all games display the same in VGA whatever there region
All PAL TV's display in 625 lines and all PAL lightguns are set to use that only
All NTSC TV's display in 525 lines and all NTSC lightguns are set to use that only
NTSC and NTSC/J displays exactly in the same way there is no difference at all
NTSC/J and NTSC light guns also have no difference except that Sega US never released an official Light Gun for the Dreamcast even though there games do support light guns

There are also very few TV's still that have true multi region display as in NTSC with 525 lines and PAL with 625 lines (both should look exactly the same displayed in the correct mode) thats why some of you may experience a Squashed image for PAL 50Hz games (Your TV is not realy PAL compatable) or a slightly stretched image for NTSC 60hz games (Your TV is not realy NTSC compatable)
