They started out as black metal then recently became weird. I don't really know how to describe it. There still is some slight black metal influence in their music but there is also symphonic, gothic, and many more elements in them now...

I see, I heard a track from them "The Sham Mirrors", and I must admit the piano work at the begining impelled me to listen further I might pay more attention to them as I pass through the times in the futures.

I've seen people swear by them left and right, but I haven't been able to get into them myself. Kinetic is really the only song of theirs I find myself listening to.

I never really got much into Arcturus either, but I did enjoy their newest album.

Well it's 2:12 AM right now here in NYC and I'm bored out of my mind and I don't feel like going to sleep so I did a stupid thing. I decided to register on nubspace.com and put up 2 of my songs. If you feel like it check it out:

    <a href="http://www.myspace.com/unholytancred">LOL TANCRED ON MYSPACE WHOMGZ</a>

Bloed In De Sneeuw is a cover by the awesome Dutch black metal band Countess. Only Death Is Real... is an uber sloppy black/thrash song...

I can do the Dimebag harmonic thing, but it's the other stuff that I have no clue how to do.

Yeah, broken English + thrash = hilarious. I still can't stop laughing when I hear Cavalera pronouncing "Mass Hypnosis" as "Mas hippinosssis". Have you seen the 1992 Sepultura DVD Live in Barcelona? That's a really cool performance...

I set up my guitar perfectly today, btw, got all the parts I needed and put the 2 extra strings I was missing. Setting up floyds is not nearly as hard as I thought it'd be.

Darkthrone... with Motorhead sounds? This must rule. I think I'll check it out despite not really liking Darkthrone.

Here are some pics of my set-up guitar:
    That's a nice ass guitar.

Just got the Burzum Anthology, I must admit it is a lot different to most, plus Burzum beat opeth on "longest track I've ever heard" at a massive 25:08 lol (Rundgang Um Die Transzendental)

Yea I've heard this a couple of weeks ago. I can say Psycroptic will still kill ass. The new vocalist is pretty awesome, Dave Haley is bashing the shit out of his drumkit again

Only 25 minutes? Pfft. Austrian ambient crappers Uruk-Hai released an album called A Night In The Forest. One song about an hour and 12 minutes long. Worst ambient shit ever. Doom metallers Bunkur released an album Bludgeon with only one song being around an hour and 5 minutes...
