I actually have a modded PSone Btw and I was hoping to get another PSone then mod chip as back-up because I've been amassing so many games from this brilliant site. I find it harder to track chips down now and I wonder do you know of any best place to get them from? I'm from the UK btw

I was thinking Ebay, but I couldn't find any. Are you referring to the compact little PS1 or the old model? I'm sorry I can't help, but I guess you could try scouring the internet with google.

Yo Mark, I will also get my psone mod and my Ps2 mod with the HD-loader, I've checked around various site for the best mod-chip and the price, they all seem good and all, but I want it chip right away, so I thought first, I woulden't send my console because it include shipment(back/fourth charges) or the console some how dissappear, so instead I'd ask friend's and retailer shop if there is a store that does mod console, and you know what I'm in luck a friend of mine know's a person that can do it(he work's in a little shop that deal with mods and import) so the point is do some searching around, like at school/arcade lounge, meet some video-game freak and just ask around, I'm sure you can find one around you're home town.

... Attempting to decode your message, it seems that you think the PS2 is old. No, the PS2 is not old, and it won't be for about a year or so. Of course it's crappy, but not old.

Thank you for all your replies and I was going to try www.mod-chip.com, but I wanted to send them an e-mail first to gain trust though the chips aren't expensive as well as you can pay via PayPal but... Well, I did e-mail them first through support and then sales but I've received no reply. It was just a general question about NTSC modchips being compatible with PAL systems though I already know that as it's universal but I was just testing. Do you think I should just go-ahead and order before chips run low?

Here is a link to the one I purchased. It is a Stealth Mod and it is compatible with both the PSX and PSOne. Very nice I might add, it comes pre wired and wrapped, only $9.99. The installation diagrams are also there for download.

Direct link to the section at ConsoleSource, Click Here.

Wow, there out of stock I just noticed, I feel stupid. Must be the price drop and the holidays. They have always had loads of them until now.

I checked out your link ncxtreme but I don't know whether it's suspicious. I say this only because on some other sites they give you the option to use PayPal and I can't here. I wonder if anyone's ordered from this site as I want to be careful I don't wipe my card and I'm from the UK. I really want a mod chip because I already have 2 DCs and 2 Amiga CD32s. In order words I want to be futuresafe so I can archive ISOs safe in the knowledge that should it ever break down then I've got one spare. Thanks.
