Oh Darn, I messed up, apparently its not Amon Amarth playing this december, but Arch Enemy . Still, might be worth going nonetheless, I suppose this or Amon Amarth would pale in comparison to OPETHHHHHHH!!!!!

Edit: going to try and get tickets for this november

I downloaded all the tabs I'm interested in that are available on MSB. Most of which are the ones you mentioned.
BTW, what do you think of the single?

Tabbing guitar by ear is not that easy, lagwagon. If it was, I would've already done so with out requesting a tab.

EDIT: Not bad, Theo. If I were you I'd go. At least if the music was bad, there's Angela to look at.

Arch Enemy are pretty meh but I'd probably go. I beg to differ with Amon Amarth though... they're seriously one of my fav's, and I never cared much for Opeth.

I still can't seem to download Tebler's single from KT...

Just trying to see if they are playing in England any time soon, and it doesn't look much like it. In other news I think I really like limbonic art. Don't know if anyone here has heard of them?

Yeah Limbonic Art... apart from Marduk and Ragnarok, they were one of the first black metal bands I ever listened to. Cool stuff, but I've totally forgotten about them. All I remember was that their songs were fast as hell and they used some synths and stuff. Too bad they split up, but the bands they went on to form are really cool too. I was extremely impressed with them way back then... I never even understood the concept of a blastbeat, the heaviest stuff I knew of was Lamb of God and Stampin' Ground, so you can figure that I shat my pants when a friend let me have a listen to black and death metal for the first time.

Holy crap, I just checked out Rotten Sound. This shit is grind/death just how I like it: brutal, concise, bloody, cold, noisy, and fast. They kick ass. If you like Napalm Death, Dying Fetus, old Carcass(pre-Heartwork), and Extreme Noise Terror you'll love these folks. I never knew there was such a thing as modern grindcore... this band is it. They should make the vocals even a bit harsher and deeper, I think it would fit them better, but hell... everything else is so damned grindy so it doesn't really matter. The traditional Carcass-esque gore theme is there, but some of their lyrics deal with politics...

Soeru, I clicked your band of the week. I will edit in my opinion

Well, the first 3 words did it in for me. Otherwise the base music seems unchanged from the stuff I listened to when i was 16. Interesting.

Well that song and video actually dates back to 1993-1994(unsure), so yeah... and the band dates back to '85. You listened to death metal when you were younger? Interesting. DM is very different nowadays compared to that, but I like both worlds: the oldschool simpler stuff and the modern technical metal bands. But nowadays I lean more towards older stuff... it just has an atmosphere that most modern DM bands don't have.

I just heard Devourment got together again, kind of old news but I was totally unaware. They put a demo out earlier this year, got signed, put out a DVD, and a new album will be out soon. Damn... under the radar as fvck! I loved their "1.3.8" album... I just checked out a new song on their myspace site and their new material seems promising...

Well dating back to 93-94 would put them out of the time I was into it, but in 85 I was all over it. Although I don't think it was technically "death metal" at the time, it was just metal, all lumped in with Slayer, Testament...ahh hell, I can't even remember any others.
