So far (on the 4th song) for me, it's not as good as Reise, Reise. But I can't hear Amerika anymore. I've heard that song so mnay times it's unbelievable.
Spring is a great song too.

Edit: Wo, Wo Bist Du is my favourite song so far.
Wo, I just said 'wo' twice in a row.

Well, see, there's a lot on Reise, Reise that I absolutely LOVE (Mein Teil, Amerika, Moskau, Keine Lust, Ohne Dich, Morgenstern), then there's songs I just can't get into at all (Los, Reise, Reise, Dalai Lama, Amour, Stein Um Stein). As opposed to Mutter, wherein I loved ALL of the songs on it. Every single song on Mutter is pure gold.

I think it's just the sheer quality of songs like Rosenrot, Mann Gegen Mann, Spring, Benzin, and Zerstoeren that put Rosenrot just a tiny bit above Reise, Reise for me. Though I don't think any of the songs on Rosenrot match up to Keine Lust. That song's got the single catchiest chorus EVER.

Adios is one of my favourite Rammstein songs.
I like Amour and Reise, Resie, though.

Zerstren is awesome. Hearing that right now.

Yeah, I think I was a bit hasty in putting the song "Reise, Reise" on my list of songs on Reise, Reise I can't get into. I actually do like that one a lot, just not as much as the others.

And since you're on Zerstren, I take it you've either heard Stirb Nicht Von Mir, or skipped it. What'd ya think of it, if you didn't skip it?

I didn't mind it at all. I wasn't paying much attention to the music, though. I like the soft melody it starts off with.

*shrug* I'm sure I'll warm up to it eventually. I know I had to warm up to "Alter Mann" back when I first started listening to R+.

Stirb... is definately one of the worst songs on Rosenrot, but I still like it a little bit. Alot of Rammstein songs take awhile for me to get used to. I don't much like the genre of metal that they play, but I do like Rammstein.

And you know, I've gotta say that Rosenrot has some of the absolute BEST guitar work I've ever heard from Rammstein.

    Yeah, it does.
But on their next album they should have blastbeats and stuff

Gmail hates me. I'm torrenting on KT instead. Here's hoping I got it right. And err.. that request wasn't mine, for the record.

I've been searching for a Bathory tab, Ring of Gold. Haven't had any luck yet. Does anyone know a place I might find it?

I use MySongBook cuz they have an assload of GuitarPro tabs. I go to MetalTabs for more obscure songs, but they don't have that one there. On MSB they have ones for "Blood Fire Death", "Dies Irae", "One Rode to Asa Bay", "Nordland", part of "Foreverdark Woods", and a few more.

You guys don't need tabs. Just do what I do; play the song till it sounds about right. It doesn't have to be absolutely perfect. I don't play guitar, though, so that might be hard to do

Well yeah... drumming by ear might be easier cuz you automatically know what hit: a tom, a certain cymbal, a snare, or a bassdrum or something, and even if it's not 100% perfect most people won't tell the difference.

Amon Amarth songs are easy as hell to figure out by ear... just tune to B(3 steps down). Fun stuff to play...
