A 16 year old kid who is pro at piano apparently covered the entire Opeth album Damnation
I'm listening to Windowpane now, but to tell the truth Damnation is the only Opeth album I've never listened to entirely, so I don't know how well covered this is. But it's great anyway. Peaceful...

BTW, VADER's new EP is out. Getting it! (Not so peaceful!)

Edit: What the FUCK! Vader's drumming on this is AMAZING! This is an awesome EP.

Holy... fuck this EP is the shit! The best songs on it are "What Color Is Your Blood" and "Death in Silence", but "Lead Us" doesn't suck... it's just doesn't feel like Vader unlike the other songs on it. Brief and simple EP... Vader are still Vader, and I am one jolly metalhead.

If their next full length is like the new EP, It'll definately be better than The Beast. The songs are hella short, too. Death In Silence is just over two minutes The record will probably be really short, too.

I wouldn't mind cramming that into your inbox, but you'd probably have to get the video from me on DC++ or something. I might be confusing you with Gheist though.

Akercocke is hot... I like their slower paced songs like "Horns of Baphomet", and those clean vox are creepier than any black metal shriek ever... Their more deathmetal-esque riffs sound like Nile or something... which is also good. Damn, they really make the whole idea of Satanism in black metal seem cool again.

One thing. Avoid the song "Stirb Nicht Von Mir" like the bloody plague. Worst Rammstein song ever. A British female singer (apparently Sharleen Spiteri from the band Texas) accompanies Till on this song, and she's simply awful.

Heh, yeah, I had to hear it at least once as well. I may listen to it then and again, but truthfully it's the ONLY Rammstein song out of my entire collection (everything they've ever done, aside from a few singles/remixes) that I'd ever delete. And being as they've been my favorite band since 1998, that's saying a lot.

Overall, Rosenrot is freakin' badass. Loving it. Been listening to the songs that I consider the best on the album over and over (which is actually all but like, 4 songs). It's a bit better than Reise, Reise, but not quite on the level Mutter was, which I still consider their best album.
