I love your taste in music Saten, though I actually like SoaD.

I've been listening a lot to King Diamond, especially "Them"/Conspiracy. Both albums are great, though I prefer (of course) Abigail to them. "Them" and Conspiracy simply lacks a song good enough to compete with "A Mansion In Darkness".

I have just fallen in love with Bathory's "Twilight of the Gods". Holy fuck, the number of times I'll listen to this album will be incalculable. Acoustic/gloomy slow paced metal. Lovely.

Anybody hear In Flames's new song Discover Me Like Emptiness? I swear, if you never heard STYE, you'd never know this was IF.

Guess what! Macabre Mementos just re-issued Wormed's "Planisphaerium" with bonus tracks! The bonus tracks are "Voxel Mitosis" from the Voxel Mitosis EP and the entire "Floating Cadaver in the Monochrome" demo, so basically you get all of Wormed's songs on one CD. I'm kind of regretting having bought the album earlier than now, but oh well. They also came out with a new t-shirt that looks cool as hell. Rumor has it that they've started writing for a new album.

A friend just told me about amon amarth Playing at the civic sometime in early december. So that should be fun, also the Death Metal night at the giff was fairly cool, I can't believe they played Opeth, WITHOUT ASKING

What is Deathchain? Thrash? I'm not a huge fan of thrash; most of it is too slow for me.

I find myself liking Dimmu borgir a LOT, I think it was just this track alone, few songs give me shivers lol

Haha, yeah. That was pretty predictable, since it's one of their best songs IMO and one of their most polular. I love the first two tracks from Puritania, and the fourth track from Death Cult. Awesome.

Theo, since you're an Opeth fan, you should REALLY try out Disillusion's Back to the Times of Splendor.

Hmm, duly noted, I'll look out for that
