i just got around to the new Helloween today. Cant say I love it. My fav song on that album is still "My Life For One More Day"Originally Posted by lagwagon_87
i really really need to give that album a serious 3 hour listening session. ill prolly love it then.
Haven't heard Chronozone. Only the new one. But I hear that that album is insane too.
Anybody listen to Six Feet Under? I've heard great things about them, but I've never heard them. Recommend some songs or albums?
edit 2: holy fuck, the melody for the song The Temple by Gamma Ray is too fucking awesome. First song I've heard from Majestic.

Whoever said great things about Six Feet Under must've been smoking some strange shit. They're mediocre at best.
Anyone know if Terrorizer's "World Downfall" has ever been remastered/reissued?
nope. metal archives would have an entry for it if it was.Originally Posted by Gheist

Kai Hansen is your god. Get Gamma Ray's No World Order and Helloween's Walls of Jericho, now.Originally Posted by lagwagon_87
Thanks. I've never been into Helloween much... Don't know why. Same with Bathory, Immortal, Gamma Ray, Morbid Angel, and I think there's another few that are really good bands that I never got into.Originally Posted by Megalith
Why didn't you lot inform me that there was a metal cover of the Ghostbusters theme?![]()
Nope, there's no remaster for Terrorizer's album, but there are reissues/reprints, the new one has slightly different colors on the cover. Terrorizer are back together btw, they have a DVD coming up and I believe they're writing some new stuff.Originally Posted by Deathcrush
Check it out, Terrorizer now have a Myspace site: http://www.myspace.com/terrorizergrindcore
Jesse Pintado(Terrorizer's guitarist) is now endorsed by BC Rich guitars, he's doin' a photo shoot or some shit.
They posted an interview with Pete Sandoval(Morbid Angel's drummer) at the official Terrorizer website. Did you know that Pete didn't use a double bassdrum while in Terrorizer? Incredible!
i love hatebreed because of the maad thrash guitars and like lyrics but i also listen to Slayer i think they will kick heavy metal ass forever!!!!!
Omfg. Arsis just posted a sample for "Diamond for Disease" on their website(worshipdepraved.org). Listening to it right now. First it sounds heavier than any of the songs on their debut CD, then you get some nice melodies and solos, all complex and intricate as fuck, and some somewhat catchy chorus. Check it out!
dunno bout you guys, but I've been getting into Finntroll lately. Trollhammaren is some good stuff, i recommend a listen
Trollhammaren is a good song, but far from their best. Anything on Jaktens Tid > Nattfdd (Nattfdd is still one of my favorite albums of all time though, which really says a lot about Jaktens Tid).Originally Posted by CheezyMadman
