Well, as another thread I made about a year ago would state, I have been getting into metal, but even after a year, there is a lot I'd say I don't know, well in comparison to most of the people here.

Here are some of my old threads I made a while back, smell the n00b

Ah Man. I've been really getting into Crionics. Human Error: Ways To Selfdestruction is a kickass album by them. Songs like Satanic Syndrome 666, Hallowed Whores, Episode Of The Falling Star and Indoctrination Procedure are orgasmic!! Waran is a sick guitarist and Darkside is an ace drummer...

Check them out now if you haven't!!!!

So the new Helloween is out? Zomg!

Helloween pretty much created the sound of power metal. Old as hell. All those bands like Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius, Hammerfall... they all get their influences from Helloween and older heavy metal bands like Iron Maiden. Maybe you should get a bets hits or something and see what they're all about. Of course... check out "I Want Out", "Time", "Halloween"... some of their more popular songs.

Btw, speaking of Hammerfall, Cans is a pretty good side-project featuring the same vocalist. It has more balls than Hammerfall I'd say, good stuff if you don't like what Hammerfall have been doing recently.

Keeper - The Legacy is a fucking masterpiece. Helloween have screwed up plenty in the past, but this is far from a screw up, I'd even go as far as say The Legacy is up there with the other Keeper albums and The Dark Ride. Better believe it. This is power metal at its finest. This is Hello-fucking-ween.

Heh, a goth forum a friend of mine told me to join up, basically didn't know who Opeth was. Which I found shocking, and somewhat Disturbing/disgusting,

Goths don't necessarily listen to metal, and much less prog and DM bands. I just can't picture a goth listening to Dream Theater or Cannibal Corpse. If he/she listens to any metal at all, he/she's probably familiar with bands like Nightwish, Type O Negative, Beseech, Darkseed, early Black Sabbath, Candlemass, Crowbar and a plethora of other goth and doom metal bands with grim-sounding names.

Pity, I was liking the Giffard arms as a pub, even with this Death metal they have every fortnight. But hearing this has sort of made the place seem a little less..better. Maybe I should go to birmingham to look for some good places

In Birmingham you'll probably find old NWOBHM farts, the real oldschool crowd! In my hometown in Spain there used to be a place called "Paraninfo" where they played metal all the time, but I never got to go there. Avulsed and Wormed played there...

Trogdor, get that fucking idiot out of your signature. It hurts my eyes.

Anyone hear about the Dimmu Borgir entire Re-recording of the album Stormblast? It's old news by now, but I don't really like it that much. I think it'll be popular only cause it's Dimmu though.
