Sweet cover for their next album, or ep, whatever. That skeleton looks my like my girlfriend .

I'm listening to the album Bleeding The False by a band called Aeon. Awesome stuff. I suggest you get a few songs to try them out.

Dude, you should really feed your girlfriend. EP actually, it's the title-track, which was written for a ballet/play/show, a re-recording of "Fortune's Envy" and an Alice Cooper cover.

Soeru, look at Skinner's join date. Christ, first you think I'm an admin and then you confuse me with Vivi...

What's with the changing of names all of a sudden? I've noticed it happen before, aswell. Or am I just confused? What's with it?!

And to stay on topic; get the album God the Lux by Vesania. Fast black metal that doesn't let down. Features Vader's drummer and a Behemoth member, which make them even cooler.

Vesania is one of those bands related to other bands that I like that I have yet to check out. For example: an assload of Polish DM and BM bands.

Oct. 25th laddie. My Decrepit Birth shirt should get here soon.

I had a dream that George Kollias of Nile played hockey for an NHL team, but he couldn't skate, so then I went down tried to kill this one dude with a knife becuase he was beating George up becuase he couldn't skate. Then he learned how to like 30 seconds later and he killed this one dude. It was cool.

    George Kollias=metal music discussion-related

edit; I kniow this isn't metal, it's like, punk music, but Propagandhi's new album is almost out, and they're one of the only punk bands I love. I'm hearing a new song from their album. Fucking awesome.

Holy fuck! I just downloaded a full-length Wormed live video! I'm willing to share it with anyone who's interested. I'll probably throw it up on a BT tracker this weekend just cause it's so damned rare...

Take a break from blastbeats and aggressive metal and download some Agalloch.
It cannot disappoint. Very long instrumental songs. Mostly instrumental.
But get some of them and you'll love them, probably.

I'm not really into much extremely rare metal. But I'm not sure if Deathcain isn't well known or not. I haven't heard of them though.

Oh. And is the Slaves Shall Serve EP out yet?

SSS should be out this month, they've been showing the video on TV.

I just realized who the Absence are! Lol, I just saw that I had submitted them quite a while ago, I completely forgot about them. Listening to their full-length, good stuff, if I remember correctly.

New Pagan's Mind is pretty good.

Nightwish's singer is giving me an erection.

What inthezoneac said is a typical uninformed opinion of the people who don't listen to this kind of music. If you were to listen to some of it and learn about a few bands your point of view would quickly change. Satanism and anti-Christianity/religion is a common theme for many death and black metal bands, but Satanism isn't really taken seriously by the musicians 99% of the time. It's usually just newspapers and tabloids that blow everything out of proportion and make up stories of bands having sacrificed babies, virgin women, etc. A lot of Norwegian black metal bands(Scandinavia was known for many Satanic-related incidents) made claims to magazines and news reporters about being part of a sect or something just to look cool in front of their hardcore fans, just for attention and getting a little more publicity. Lyrical themes like that can be very cool if written well, but I usually prefer more down-to-earth lyrics dealing with anti-Christianity/religion or politics in a more subtle way(ie: Think mid-era Bathory or Amon Amarth, Napalm Death(political)). Still, I love all those evil spritual lyrics from bands like Morbid Angel, the decadent atmosphere the music makes is just awesome, not to mention it's heavy as fuck..

I don't read newspapers or tabloids. I have heard a few of that "noise" and it's basically all the same screaming/yelling. So don't go the "media ruins it" or the "you shouldn't bash unless you try/heard it" way. I would just like to know why people like this music so much.
