Haha, hearing Nashville Pussy's new album. Pretty groovy stuff, even though I haven't heard them ever before, but I have heard alot of stuff about them being kinda funny. I don't think I could stand much more of this though.
Why do I like that wacko smily guy so much anyway..? Something about him..

    Edit:
Let me lick your asshooole! Let me lick it cleeeaan!
And who is this Willams that they talk about in every song? That williams must be pretty cool.

Sounds good in some places Skinner.

But I don't get why there's lots of In Flames fans that dislike Reroute And STYE. I love them all.

If you like In Flames, there's a new cd out now by The Absence called From Your Grave.
If you like In Flames, you'll most likely love this cd too.

My god, I can't believe this is you speaking. Yes, TJR's main theme is exactly that, great CD. Do you like the first CD(Lunar Strain)? It might be a little harder to get into at first, it's slightly less melodic than Whoracle and TJR. You probably already listen to Dark Tranquillity, just thought I'd mention them. Very similar, just more keyboard stuff, in fact at some point, most of the members and ex-members of In Flames and Dark Tranquillity played in both bands.

Skinner, check out the album "Insomnia" by Pandemonium and also check out Arsis if you like At the Gates at all. Both have a new one coming out soon. Also check out: Wintersun(not really DM, but you'll like it), Insomnium(really really kick-ass and melodic), Kalmah, old Amorphis, and of course the Norse melo death barbarians Amon Amarth, which I will be seeing live with Bodom in Dec. AA are quickly becoming one of my favorite bands. They combine the melody of Swedish death metal with the grim epic heaviness of Bathory(also Swedish) to form their own breed of crushing melodic DM, significantly different from Gothenburg-based melo death metal.

Speaking of Swedish DM, does anyone like the old heavier DM bands like Dismember and Entombed? Great shit, I've been getting into old Entombed a lot recently, along with other oldschool DM bands like Obituary and shit. Simplicity can be a good thing, it gets the song across more clearly. I love over the top shizzle like Necrophagist and Suffocation, but sometimes you don't need 250 riffs to write a good song.

It seems that everyday there seems to be more metalheads out there. I spotted two at college today, 3 yesterday, and 3 on the subway. Once you get into it, there's no going back laddies.

Bought a Decrepit Birth shirt yesterday, gonna buy a Wormed shirt and an assload of other less rare shirts/sweats soon.

I got a full-length live Sepultura video called "Under Siege" from '91, I believe it's official. Damn, what I've seen so far kicks ass. All fans of oldschool DM and thrash should check the video out.

I decided to grow my goatee again, lets see how long it lasts til I get bored of it. Why can't a 4-day scruff just stop growing?!

Off to listen to the new Cryptopsy and Manowar releases...

Fleshcrawl kinda sounds like Dismember. Listen to Beneath A Dying Sun of the album Made Of Flesh, it has a Dismember type feel Don't have any Dismember now......

I implore you to get the Gitaroo Man soundtrack, I say this because there are a few nice tunes in there notably "Ressurection" This is a mix of a few genres of music, including reggae, but some of the tracks are done by a rock band called "Coil" I know its not exactly metal, but I thought some of the guitar tracks on this was unreal.
