You don't know what an iPod is? Seriously..

    It's a portable MP3 player by Apple.

I thought it was something like that...
Everybody has one then... I already have a banana-bunch of cd's, so I'll keep with my little cd player.

Ooh, I heard like, a demo (or something) of a new song from Cryptopsy's new album, and it was quite average.

I guess ipods would be convinient, being so small.
And how come I never got into Dream Theater that much? I first heard Octavarium, then nothing else.
I just heard the Metropolis cd's, and I'm in love with them.

Try listening to Awake. There's DT's pinnacle.

Yes I got Awake too. Excellent stuff. I haven't heard the word 'pinnacle' for awhile either. It used to be my favourite word.
But yes, Awake is too awesome.

I recently bought Opeth's new album, and realised, that I have no cd player, seeing as this album is the first cd I bought. So I got a cd player.

Well I thought a CD player would be so much better then my laptop

In other news I went to a Death metal Themed night in the Giffard (goth themed pub) last night, really nice I thought

Sounds ok, the pub I mean.
I want a laptop...I have this huge computr and a laptop wouldn't take any space and it would even be like ten times better than this thing.

I'd go for the computer to be honest, the restriction on hard drive space is pretty bad, especially if you aren't the sort to burn stuff off often.

Sos for the off topicness, I'd say though, that the atmosphere in the Giff last night was spot on, not too many people there last night, but the music was great I thought, ahh, I think I remember the film they were playing on the tv as well (it was slient of course cos of the music) it was a computer animated film about a demon that fought other demons with guitar tunes. it was called "Deanimator" of something.

    Deanimator? I smell Dean advertisement.

I got two letters from my financial aid providers today, but unfortunately neither of them were the money I'm getting. (a small voice echoed inside my head: "Fuck!").

Does anyone know any good/cheap U.S.-based online stores for buying band merchandise like shirts and stuff? I've found a few that I like at earache.com, but they carry mostly XL shirts which are too big for me. JSR Direct has a huge selection but a lot of them aren't in stock, not to mention they take about 4 weeks for delivery. Any other reccomendations? I might buy that Kreator G-string underwear. Ph34r.

I heard the bonus Japanese song for Nile's AOTW. Great stuff, but I'm not surprised at that. Nile fucking pisses on most death metal bands these days.
George Kollias is my hero. All his limbs work so separately, he has no trouble doing anything. He's a cyborg I tell you.
And I saw the video for Sacrifice Unto Sebek. Great great stuff, again. I always thought Karl Sanders did all the vocals for their songs, but as I saw in the video, he doesn't.

And you've probably heard of this, but The Iron Maidens (the shit all-woman Iron Maiden cover band) made a cd. I don't like it. Boring.

Not very surprising, as most tribute-bands for Iron Maiden (or any band existing, really ) sucks dick. There are some bands that've done some great Iron Maiden-covers though (and Cradle Of Filth is NOT one of them ).
