Installing GCoS
- Preparing Max Drive Pro for PC transfers
1. Make sure Max Drive memcard is not connected to USB cable
2. Remove any memory cards from GameCube
3. Insert Max Drive into GameCube
4. Boot up the GameCube Max Drive Pro software
5. Press A
6. Result of this should say PC ready on the right of the screen
7. Remove Max Drive memcard- Transfer GCoS to Max Drive memcard
1. Make sure to remove Max Drive memcard from GameCube
2. Connect USB cable to Max Drive memcard
3. Extact GCOS v1.4.zip
4. Run PC Max Drive software
5. Drag and Drop extracted GCOS v1.4.dol to the right side of the PC Max Drive software
6. Click Yes to convert file
7. Remove Max Drive memcard from USB cable- Preparing Max Drive memcard for GameCube use
1. Make sure Max Drive memcard is not connected to the USB cable
2. Remove any memory cards from GameCube
3. Insert Max Drive into your GameCube
5. Boot up GameCube Max Drive Pro Software
6. Wait for Max Drive Pro software to set the Max Drive mamcard up for GameCube use**
**The right hand side will say it's ready for PC use this will only say GameCube only use if you copy or delete anything from the Max Dive memcard using the GameCube- Optionally to run from a normal memcard
1. Remove any discs from GameCube
2. Insert normal memcard and the Max Drive memcard
3. Boot up GameCube
4. Copy GCOS v1.4.dol from Max Drive Pro memcard to the normal memcard
