    Default PSX - ADPCM Sound

    Hello again guys,

Now I have a question about ADPCM sound. I want to play that but how? With ePSXe I can play it. PSX Multi converter does'nt support it. And an extra question... Is it possible to convert that to a winamp-readable-file??

Only if you could rip the music somehow.

Eternal can record soundtracks while you are ingame.
Read the provided documentation for usage.

I have never atempted this and I'm not even sure if the psf files are created from ADPCM sound but it is worth a look just in case it does help you

Also http://www.zophar.net/psf/ has a modest collection of PSX sound tracks created in this way

    Mod projects - XBOX
Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1 & 2 - online quests in offline mode packs [COMPLETE]
    [Quest Packs Collection]
GTA San Andreas - Hot Coffee [COMPLETE]
[Mod ready] & [Full ISO ready]
GTA San Andreas - Real Car Names extra content mod [WIP] [Back burner, just won't have the time ]
Please can all ESR users post your results here to help with the project and others wanting to use ESR

Hmm. I know about one program that might be
more poweful on playing PSX media.
I have this program somewhere on my HD though
I have never test it. This program is called "PSmplay"
and you may google for it.

If you have noluck finding it I may look for it and
send it via yousendit, but searching my
HD will take some time even when using search engine...

PSX Multi Converter actually supports the exact same things PSmplay does but PSX Multi Converter has extra support that PSMPlay doesn't

    Mod projects - XBOX
Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1 & 2 - online quests in offline mode packs [COMPLETE]
    [Quest Packs Collection]
GTA San Andreas - Hot Coffee [COMPLETE]
[Mod ready] & [Full ISO ready]

Yes I know PSXMC is very good media player, but I haven't tested the other
one so I don't know if it's better.

Yep found the solution and if you want I'll post you the link.
You wouldn't believe it but it's the new version of PSX MultiConverter
that supports this type of stream... (ADPCM Type-1)
<- check out in "Set PCXMC options..." and "PSR" tab...
    It's a 30 days trial, but I'm sure it'll do the work...

    And here's the link:

Still not working PSXmc does'nt show some musics. For example: It shows STR001, STR002, STR004! He skipped STR003! but it's a pretty good version! :eyeball:
However, the CDAZ editor shows them ( With the plugin XA-CDROM??? ) but I can't play them...
