It should be fine. I have tried burning speeds of up to 52x and found no problems.

ePSXe doesn't have as many problems reading CD-R's but actual hardware does
Burning at your slowest speed is more a precausion and it is known that CD's in general have beter results burned at the slower speeds, but yeah you can get away with 52x sometimes even on PSX hardware
here is a guide though not by me for ajusting the PSX laser http://www.maxking.com/pslaser.htmOriginally Posted by SpinNuYasha
The guide can also be used with the Dreamcast to a certain extent and the PSone as they all have the same sorta thing
Also I would mark the preset with a CD Pen instead of trying to remember it.
I will at some point do a full guide for that, but if you need any other info you are welcome to ask anyway

I just tested Volume Five on my PSX--the one that was burned at 8x. It tested fine. AAMOF, the in-game music was still intact for pretty much all of the games, so the result was better than the other volume with the ISO made from Nero.
This pretty much sums up all five volumes with satisfactorily-made ISOs. So as soon as I find a remote tracker to share these games, you can pretty much expect to see these ISOs shared on BT.
