The set of package including the USB cable and the card is surely expensive.
Plus there are so many different kind of flashcard set.
I went into one of the site and it dazzled me eye with like 5 types of flashcard of the same purpose.

What's the difference between EZF and EZFA?
Im thinking EZFA is advanced version of EZF, duno if im right.
Also, I think EZF is one of the more common flashcard... there are a lot of different size for it.

Anyway, the regular set of 256bit card and cable is around $100+(CAD).
Not saying it's not good, but I think it's too expensive, anyone feel the same way?

This is not bad, back in the days you would pay that for a 64M (I did) but now i'm just sticking to my X-Rom from easybuy2000.com, currently at 94$ US for a 512M flash kit.
    Less expensive than others.

So um, basically, there's no way for me to get all 3 starting Pokemon in Fire Red/Leaf Green?

I don't think I personally would put this on my Flash Cart. Not for fear of an irrecoverable OS, but I have used the original OS for so long, I have grown accustomed to it.

Well, I already bought a card, andi t's minutes away from arriving... What software would you have me use for it? I've seen many but I don't know which one is the best or at least the most recommended...

Just usd the software bundled with the thing (EFA_Client), put Megaman Zero in it and it works wonders! Thing is, now I hook the card to my comp and it takes ages to load it... The program just freezes. Is this normal?

EDIT: oh wait... It came with a txt that said this:
Please charge the battery in the card by connect the card with USB cable to a power-on PC for 8 hours or more before first use.

    Is this normal?

Never had either happen to me and I use an EZFA 256 and hadn't used the thing in a hell of a long time and still no charge warning.

the EZFA actually charges from the GBA's Batery

I presume you either have a diff card or it has some problems with it

Basicly it's an on cart front end that gives windows looking OS and can load just about anything from it.

Personly I don't bother the EZFA GUI looks and works good enough for me and lets use a I.G.F (In Game Feature) for quiting back to the menu and for adding cheat codes to my roms.
