Look, PSOne's are a dime a dozen Zorlon. I can walk into any used gaming store and pay no more then twenty bucks for one. With that in mind, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the swap trick. Even on the off-chance that it screws someone's system up, it's cheap to replace it. Of course, if they don't have the means to do so, then perhaps then I might not recommend it. But even still, I've been doing it for about three years with my current PSOne and it hasn't harmed it yet.![]()
I didn't say otherwise I just said I wouldn't recomend it
If I thought as strongly as you have made out I wouldn't have mentioned it at all

anyone have any suggestions id be greatfukl thx
Failure is only defeat when you stop trying.
Chanka is a good emulator but its still in the fairly early stages. A suggestion would be to use. 2.0 as for some reason sometimes plays the games better.Originally Posted by Crage
Lunar SSSC problem
I'm pretty sure this problem hasn't been addressed before, as I ran a search and didn't see anything...
This is my first time ever playing Lunar, and I'm at what I think is the end of the first CD where the gang is flying from myght castle. There is a cutscene where it shows a tower an Nall is talking, and Alex says something about Ghaleon bieng in there too.
After that the screen fades to black..... and espxe freezes.
I've tried save states right before this and loading from there, but the same thing happens...
I've had no trouble before this, what could the cause be?
Thanks for your time.
Try another emulatorOriginally Posted by leftover
Are you playing it with an Iso or straight from the game disc?
From an iso.Originally Posted by Chaos
Save states will go from one emulator straight to the other?
I'll try that then.
Thanks!

I'll just take Chaos's advice and try another emu.
Thanks guys.
Another suggestion might be to try using that fix in ePSXe 1.5.2 if you're using 1.6.0 and vice versaOriginally Posted by leftover

Unless the advice has already helped I have a horrible thought that you may have a damaged CD Image
I have put up a guide to atempt to fix CD Image errors though in the CD Image - Repair Guide thread
alternativly if it that doesn't help either you can upload a savestate and memcard save zipped up together at You Send it and link it here then I can download it and check it out myself and either check for a fix or send a save state back that is past your sticking point.

Gah. That program tells me I have 150 corrupt sectors. Tried both ways as the guide said, and its a no go.

Thats a save state just one moment before the scene fades out and I freeze
the save is from a little bit before that, when you have to talk to everyone and then board the airship.
Thanks a huge lot for the help Zorlon
OK it is actully the swop point but I can't find CD2 at the very second I will keep looking for it though but try swopping CD's at the black screen, if it's still froze I'll up a save on CD2 for ya, the first point I can.
I'm using a diff emu aswell. Conettix Virtual Game Station is the full name, CVGS for short
