Been using Emuparadise for ages, and just found out that there's this forum and I've been registered here for 4 years? How's this site even afloat now? I don't see any ads with my adblocker off. Where you get your fuel from, is this all just pure enthusiasm? Big props if so

It's the other way around, if you don't log in you get ads and there are so many visitors it crashes the server if they have no incentive to log in. It's caused by Apple allowing emulation on its app store, then Vimm's Lair experiencing a DMCA with too many phone zombies using the server leading to an emulation apocalypse here with phone zombie herds in no less than 30,000 at a time in massive waves crashing this server so now they generate ad revenue instead of just eating brains. The good news is that zombies rely on brains to eat and will starve to death.

Holy moly, last post in this thread was about 8 months ago. How are you all doing? Ages ago this site was me and my brothers' introduction to emulation. My brother even ran a blog and made a few posts (username was fluff or something? I don't remember.)

I've been emulating some games recently (NFS: Underground particularly) and I wanted to check in with y'all again. Thanks for being such a great part of my childhood.

Well, might as well officially introduce myself, I am ArceusI, I am on various sites, like DeviantArt, Wikia, Weasyl, and even YouTube to name a few, plus on ROMhacking.net, GameFAQs, NeoRHDN, Wars World News and even my own Forum which is Casuality. It's been a long time coming, from my early days of gaming when I went under the (Now quite stupid) username of RAYMOND1996, I wasn't on this site much at all till 2025, of course, it isn't all crimsons and clovers...

I recently fled one site, FurAffinity, due to the Display Names System they implemented, and with their newest update I am morbidly concerned over it's stability. I am also the one who conceptualized the Arceus 2600 over on NeoRHDN (If that site would knock it off with the down-time issues).

If you ever want to talk to me, just send me a message and I'll happily respond. If I'm on here of course. I am usually juggling my entire life around every day, so it's hard to be consistent.

Fast Fact: I started playing in 1999, 2 years before EmuParadise even existed! Been doing it for 26 years at the time of this introduction. I was born May 19th, 1996.
