In Skyrim a Khajiit or Argonian character can wear a dragon priest mask with the shrouded cowl for 4 enchantments on head armor which is OP. Argonians have a weakness to cold environments in survival mode and khajiit have extra warmth from their fur in cold environments, to get the shrouded cowl you have to travel through tundra snowstorms so a khajiit is better. Another reason khajiit is better is claws for unarmed melee and all weapon skill increases with ranged bow. Shrouded cowl boosts bow damage by 35%, you can start the quest to find it talking to Olava the Feeble in Whiterun. So a khajiit with marksman, sneak, light armor, heavy armor, enchanting and smithing one-hit kills most anything with sneak damage multiplier but you'll need the heaviest armor possible for Dragonborn content because against Miraak you can't sneak but you can still lob damage boosted arrows his way.

@ Grouch I'm going to be playing No Man's Sky, my install is vanilla because I can't find any mods I like. I do like the Star Trek Enterprise mod but it seems out of place without any additional Star Trek content besides ships.

that's cool. yeah NMS doesn't have a whole lot of mods but that might have something to do with the game breaking mods with basically every update so you have to continuously update the mods to be compatible or you have to stay on specific version of the game which can suck as a lot of updates add or change content.
anyway have fun with it it's a huge game. a couple tips, go through a bit of the main story quests first you might also want to use this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/...ab=description to fix a broken quest that's part of the main quest line also install it before you start it, the mod didn't fix the bug for me but I had already started and progressed the quest line. it's not really game breaking(at least too much)as all you get from the npc is a free freighter locator beacon once a day/week.
also don't try hit too many abandoned buildings at least until you reach a certain point in the main quest line. 3rd look out for boundry failures they're kinda hard to miss they look like giant stargates
and lastly if you're not liking your starting ship you can buy new ones by talking to the pilots that hang around their ships at space stations and other locations or you can buy distress beacon maps that might lead you to crashed ships that you can fix up and claim for yourself the quality and type vary.
