well I watched 2001 shard was right it's a dry movie, that was the longest and slowest movie I have ever watched no wonder raggy fell asleep watching it.
it took an hour to get to anything good in the movie, the only thing really good about the movie is it had props sets and costumes of star wars caliber other than that it didn't have much going for it.
at least now I get the references in the simpsons futurama and south park.

Yeah you need to keep in mind when it was made. Visually it looks pretty impressive for back then.
I mean Planet of the Apes was the same time and got awards for costumes iirc? 2001 just looks fantastic for back then though. Nearly a decade before Star Wars.

it did, it looked fantastic. I really liked all the screen displays like in the cockpits and the brief chess scene that one in particular looked really advanced for when the movie was made.

Managed to convince local PO to let me get my mail on a day they're never open (Saturday)

Got XSX setup now, removed old logins and added mine. Installing a few XSX games and getting updates atm: Redfall, Dead Space remake, Jedi Survivor.

For what, 10h of gameplay ?

Think it's more than 10 hours.
From what I can tell cut-scenes can't be skipped. Normal dialogue in-game can be skipped though if you have it toggled on in options.

I guess the size is due to 4k... which I'm not even using

I don't even have XSX controller, but I've got plenty of XB1 controllers and a couple of v1 elites. Just using a black 1708 with it atm.
