    what's a crosscut saw?
Manual saw for large trunks. I got an old one, two man and 6', with minor damage for an okay price a while back but one of the wooden handles snapped on me in use. There are also one man saws but not as large.

I didn't want to spend $700+ on a 24" chainsaw (nor can I really justify it) to cut up a downed tree in a neighbor's yard. Hopefully that's still there, it's been a while .

Summer is the worse season for gaming. Especially when it comes to PC gaming.

Don't play games which make your CPU/GPU burn through power and dump out heat ?

Use a chainsaw with a smaller bar and roll the log. If you still can't cut the core then use steel wedges and sledgehammer (or back of block splitter).

    Spoiler warning:

I got the manual saw to avoid needing to do that. I did already cut off some of it that way but there's a lot left to roll and I'd rather avoid it. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I hate when I get a tv show that's supposed to be dvd rips but many episodes end up being sd tv rips or vhs rips that are of obvious lower quality.

I'd rather cut in place, there are steep drop-offs and the ground is uneven. I already bought the manual saw for the task and have taken the time to carve a replacement handle. Once it's small enough to roll by myself I'll see how I feel about it .

If it's a Mill Creek or similar budget junk release it's possible that it's a legitimate DVD rip and the source quality is horrible.

This is from the same release of Special Unit 2, the first shot is disc 1 and the second shot is a later disc with too much content jammed onto it:
