South Florida has not had any gasoline for ages because people from up north are coming down here to pump gas, despite there not being a gas shortage. Delivery workers, Chinese food restaurants and pizza chains are not serving the area. Workers can't go to work because the transit system is overwhelmed with passengers and their cars have no fuel. Looks apocalyptic from my end but individual results may vary.

Edit: I lived in LA for a year when a visit turned into a stay, seems the only thing to do in South Florida is get away.

Regarding my previous post, I need to flip a coin to determine where to experience The Apocalypse properly because I'm a Mad Max fan and California has deserts. This Florida apocalypse has swamps and apocalypse tourists pumping gas during The Apocalypse, where are you going to build a real Thunderdome?

If you're a local you know there is plenty of gas and no shortage which is a misconception being reported by outsiders not living it. There are too many people not from Florida on vacation exacerbating a distribution problem by pumping gas here and they should not visit Florida ever again.

I've been a Florida resident 44 years, what state tourism councils are promoting is diametrically opposed to what state residents are thinking. So, on behalf of the people who shit in Florida as a local do not not come here to shit. This 'problem' is caused by state funds going to tourism council members and not to simple and necessary infrastructure such as proper drainage systems.

sounds like what's been going on here for the last 10-15 years. a great example of this is about 3-5 miles from here residents were vehemently opposed to a cell tower being built in their neighborhood despite this the government approved it and it was built just last year.
another example is our infrastructure has been literally crumbling beneath our feet but yet several hundred million dollars was spent on bicycle trails that go unused/underused.

I'm not interested in politics, I was born in Cuba and it's a post-apocalyptic Third World shithole now listed as a developed country with the US under it as a developing country which is what a Third World country is. There are no working toilets in Cuba, the ones at the airports have no seats. Don't go there to shit, don't come to Florida to shit either; go shit somewhere else.

Once Florida shuts down its tourism industry people will still vacation there, no need to advertise what is common knowledge or to use state funds on a tourism council instead of infrastructure that's decrepit even by Third World standards. That being stated, this a gaming forum and posting politics here is just as vapid as speaking with tourism council members whose only votes are to increase their salaries. It also behooves everyone to recognize democracy is dead in the US and that your only vested interest in politics is not to get involved in them because it does not matter whatsoever and nobody can do anything about it except have no stake in it to include as your best interest.

Are you planning to softmod? You might not be able to with new standard firmware update and 8.xx is easy to CFW.
