Spoiler warning:
I hate it when you buy a used game, and peel the price sticker and discover some minor damage. It's not like the store was trying to hide it, they sticker all the games the same, it's just bad luck![]()
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here
Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection - Switch
Like A Dragon: Ishin! - PS4
The last game I bought was Hogwarts Legacy. I wanted to play it because I love the Harry Potter movie series.
Super Mega Baseball 3 - PC/Steam
Baldur's Gate 3, going to play as an elven wizard first because I have a standard spellbook for elven wizards. Elves can use longswords and bows as wizards which factors into the spell selection, a combat mage.
Edit: I also gave a standard ability score spread.
STR: 10
DEX: 14
CON: 14
INT: 15(minimum, any extra points here)
WIS: 10
CHA: 10
Though I'm tempted to play as another one of my favorites. A half-orc thief with max strength to be an effective fighter in melee, do max damage with sneak attacks and to loot entire dungeons solo with all the extra carry weight for a treasurefest.
STR: 15(minimum, any extra points here)
DEX: 14
CON: 14
INT: 10
WIS: 10
CHA: 10
Gear: Dagger, Katana, Short Bow, Arrows, Leather Armor, Studded Leather Armor, Healing Potions
Edit: just noticed that there is no playable half-orc race. So a githtyanki will do, or a half-elf with +1 Strength and +1 Dexterity.
Edit: After looking at all the character options I decided on a noble Ranger Knight shield dwarf with poison resistance dwarves normally have, history and perception because of the stonecunning dwarves normally have and persuasion in dialogue is better than a dwarven fighter by far and is good at role playing as well as well as hack and slash sword and board with a Ranger/Fighter.

What rule set do they use for BG3? I remember the first 2 games were 2nd edition with a bit of a mix of 3 for the enhanced editions. Don't remember a wizard being able to use weapons other than a staff or dagger etc even an elf back with those rules so just wondering.
5th Edition rules, and no alignment system or multi-classing. Racial description says certain races have bonus weapon proficiencies in BG3, elves have been proficient in longsword since 3rd Edition. Given that there is no multi-classing I knew an elven wizard or a high strength rouge that performs like a fighter in melee would be good choices under the game's rules. Can't go wrong with a dwarven Ranger/Fighter either after perusing the character creation options.
