Because it's widely regarded as being a great game and it isn't a long slog like Morrowind.
You should play Sith Lords now

I played II before I played the first game . It's been too long to remember specifics but I liked it better.

Sith Lords is more buggy. For basically the same reason as Fallout New Vegas iirc

That's pretty much what sellers want for very good condition SH Homecoming or Downpour on PS3 over here.
But that isn't actually very good condition obviously.

Maybe the 360 versions are up around the same price now. Covid really inflated prices over here, as imports are more expensive plus can be a real hassle finding OS sellers that will ship here.
Fewer copies available on the local market increases price

I got a Japanese copy of Gun Valkyrie Xbox from a local seller recently, much much cheaper than buying a PAL version (which is usually $70aud or more now, it's HTF locally).
Complete and mint, the disc installs on Xbox One just like any other variant but actually installed as English version on my console. The US and Japan releases share the same pressing, bios on original Xbox (NTSC or modchip) chooses Japanese or English language.

Well from what I recall Sith Lords crashed on me several times on Xbox. Kotor never did though.
FO3 is way less buggy than NV, on both 360 & PS3. But PS3 is the absolutely the worst platform for those games (and Elder Scrolls).
I prefer FO3 over NV myself, the gambling stuff and some other things (alt ammo and crap) I found annoying fluff more than anything, but also the bugs can be a pain especially on PS3.

I played both on PC. I think being frozen after combat persisted into II but I don't remember any specific bugs. I had a couple instances of things not triggering in my playthrough of KotOR but reloading earlier saves got around the issue. The PS3 is a crappy platform in general .
