Popped it open when I got home. Unlike other 2.5" ext drives I've seen in recent years this thing is actually sata with a removable USB interface... but the drive itself is like 19mm thick

I'm not sure if I can use this in anything as a sata drive

This is weird. I mean, it's good that PS2 games start automatically, but still. Good to know, btw. If I ever decide to reconnect my PS2 and play something on it (I have to buy a new controller because old one has gone nuts), I'll probably have to be careful (Memory Card setup might eventually be a problem). Thanks.

I do have parts here to do it but can't be bothered, desktops suck too much power... I'd rather turn on my XB1 than do that.

Anyway I put the drive back in the ext case and threw some more PS4 backports on there.

PATA drives wow. I haven't used those since my old computer. I still have my old PATA hard-drives, but I'd need a converter/connector to use it on modern hardware.

    That's why they're complete tho
Anything desktop that has sata here is in bits, most of the drives were salvaged for extra storage over the last 2 years and I threw out some cases. So it's MB's and other stuff in boxes mostly.
Well, besides the old complete systems. A P4, a P3, couple of 486 setups and maybe a pentium 1. Then there's a G3 Mac and an eMac.
I mostly use laptops because I have one running 24/7 and then a couple more if I need to do other things (transcoding vids, organising games for consoles and other stuff).

I've been using one lappy to mess around with the other (shitty) android box I have here. Flashing linux and other android builds via USB (male to male) just to see how much better than stock it can be.

My first computer was a P1, then had a P4. As of now I'm running an i5(haswell generation). I'll need to make a new build if I want to use newer hardware. If parts ever go down. Damn bitcoin miners. :/

Those Bieber Balls you can buy aren't actually his testicles. If you find pubes on them you should complain and get free food.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

There was a time I literally went crazy for him. I used to watch the "What do you mean" music video every day.
