I could've ordered one from the US but this is about $20-30aud cheaper.
Hard to find anything worth shipping from the US now, for me anyway

No it's an SD flashcart for Atari 2600. It's cheaper than Harmony cart though.
Unocart is actively updated. Latest firmware is like v17 from December 2020.

    It's a flashcart I didn't have for my consoles.
Pretty sure all the other cart based consoles I have are already covered, even if only partially.

Yeah there are flashcarts for 7800 and even the 800 etc too iirc.
Atari ST has kinda the same options as Amiga.

The only 2 I'm aware of for 2600 are Unocart and Harmony (although I think Harmony has more than 1 variant).

You can get flashcarts for just about anything really, just a matter of doing some reading and availability.
You can get flashcarts for Lynx too and even do IPS display mods like what are available for Game Boy family, although Lynx has less screen options compared to the ninty stuff.

I just didn't think the old atari stuff was popular enough for a flash cart. the ips screen for ninty stuff doesn't surprise me.

2600 is popular enough to warrant flashcarts, for sure. The sheer size of the library is enough too.
Being an active console on the market for like 13 or 15 years depending on what part of the world.
Homebrew limited run carts being released in recent times.

It's essentially a region free console that is more retro than the first famicom.

Never had one as a kid myself but plenty of friends had them, so I have some fond memories of atari sleepovers and stuff like that.

I have 2, 1 working(4 switch) and 1 non working(6 switch) it needs a new power plug I don't know how to solder otherwise I'd fix it both are wood grain models.

2600 units, especially the older types are really easy to work on.
Get hold of some junk trash like old PVR's, pc motherboards or whatever from electronics recycling and practice removing stuff and soldering it back on.
It's a rewarding feeling fixing something that's broken for yourself

unfortunately I don't get out enough to find that kind of stuff and i don't have any soldering equipment I had been meaning to get a set but every time I do
I either don't have the money for it or I'm distracted by other things.

    dead 2600 woody 6 switch
    dead 7800
    odyssey 2

I would've taken all of those at once if I lived over there.
Have you got intellivision and colecovision?
