Was that one of the old guys that are in the drink/fight club?

*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here
So, I just got my very first Japanese Gamecube game. Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes.
I've seen Japanese packaging many times over the years, but this is the first time I've handled one of these myself irl.
Cover art for PAL version of this game is just as good as this imo, unlike the US version.
But the Japanese packaging overall... man, this is awesome. Like a small book. I imagine the cardboard slip cover could be easily damaged but this one I have is nice. 2 disc and the arrangement is interesting including where the manual and other paperwork resides.
I'm kinda tempted to collect some more of these Japanese games now
Although I might just look up what other Japanese games that have some English options via menu... and possibly other exclusives even if they don't have English.
Is it possible to get protective sleeves for these Japanese Gamecube releases?
Spoiler warning:
I hooked up my Japanese 'cube to my 32" trintron via s-videoold school.
Pretty surprised how good the audio is for that game.

PS1 Digital - HDMI output up to 1080p (not upscaling analogue output)
XStation - ODE
Spoiler warning:
Yeah it's interesting but I wouldn't bother doing it myself tbh. Spend all that money and then have a heap of work to do
I have several PS3's with full CFW and Playstation Classic. My original consoles look ok using s-video output on crt.
If the ODE was a simple PnP like GCLoader is now I'd consider it.
Spoiler warning:
Those were never dirt cheap at any point over here and I never got the chance to import one for a reasonable price from OS.
I do have 2x Vita consoles though, one OLED and a later slim.
Spoiler warning:
Wii U you can get used much much cheaper than PSTV, but it still isn't dirt cheap like other consoles. I still don't have one.
Spoiler warning:
Saw a WiiU on Craigslist recently for 129.
