Haven't looked at the Xbox for a couple days and just hopped on and noticed RE7 is on Gamepass.
I already have it but at least I won't have to get off my lazy ass to stick the disc in if I so desired to play this piece of trash game again

THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.
Nuthin much.
Playing Baldurs Gate again.
Thank you Deadlegion
I might get a Xbox Series X or whatever its called, if it really does have a lot of good backwards compatbility. I have a good chunk of xbox 360 games. A Ps5 would also be a good idea. However I'm not super interested in next-gen, it doesn't excite me like it used to.
I'll get one since I have an Xbox One. The backwards compatibility junk is already pretty good and by all accounts it will continue on with work to bring even more past games to it. They stopped on the One a couple years ago I assume to focus more on the new system.
Not gonna get it day one by any means though. Maybe a couple of years.
I miss Sony though
My main PS3 and PS4 consoles are packed away, they're still linked to my ID tho. PS4 is still on old OFW but I haven't done the exploit on it yet.
I have a spare PS3 SS hooked up solely as a DVD/BD player, just to save some wear on my main BD player which is totally region free
Spoiler warning:
I bought my Ps3 secondhand, it was already updated, it had the new firmware, so the install other OS wasn't on it. However it is a fat ps3 and is backwards compatbile with PS2 and PS1 games. I probably won't be buying the new systems anytime soon. I wonder if the PS5 will only be backwards compatible with a handful of PS4 games, or they pull out something and it is backwards compatbile with all previous Sony consoles.
I think it's unlikely PS5 will have much in the way proper BC like Xbox has had this gen.
Possibly PS4 discs will work but other than that I wouldn't expect much from them at all, they're likely to go the same way ninty has with making people pay for old games over and over again with no other option.
By all indications Xbox Series X will have the same BC capability that One has, although I'm not sure if One physical games will install from disc on SX or just have inner ring read to download digital version like Xbox & Xbox 360 games that are BC.
Spoiler warning:
Remember when Sony used to champion BC? Those were the days. The fact that Xbox Series X will be able to play original Xbox games is great. I don't know how an all digital future is going to look. There are still parts in the U.S. that don't have hi-speed internet. I'm still on old slow DSL.
I just love it. I know I've mentioned it before but once again sitting in my chair and looking out the window whilst watchng some shows at the bright moon and Mars twinkling red just above it and a little to the right.
Been quite visible for awhile now and will continue for some time. 5th brightest celestial object right now.
