I hope the soundtrack isn't censored in the THPS soundtrack. I also saw a little bit of gameplay. The blood seems toned down. That isn't a big deal, but it would be nice to see a decent amount of blood when you fall. I know in the original THPS, little blood droplets would show when you fall.
The original was heavily censored. There was a lot of very explicit music after all.
And theres no way they'll go for an M rating, just for a bit of music. While their target audience is 30 year olds, they will not exclude a younger demographic when money is involved. They are quoted as wanting to make the game as true to the original as possible. On the topic of blood, the original was a little over the top. Blood doesn't 'actually' burst fourth in a torrent if you simply fall to your knees.
The ESRB as well as movie ratings have evolved dramatically since the 90's. For whatever reason, I think dialog is now more heavily shunned while gore is less so.
On a side note, it's kind of hard to build a strong argument against a game solely on the soundtrack being "complete" or not. They could likely include more iconic music from the era if they wanted and its not like we don't all have the complete uncensored soundtracks in our cars, right.right??
Maybe I should update this:

I got a megaupload link in there from 2011.![]()
Well I know in THPS3, the blood was a little over the top. I saw some other gameplay and noticed a tiny bit of blood when they fall. I think as along as the game gets a T rating, it should be good. Though I feel like they might tone down the game a bit so it gets a E10 rating. Seems like the Teen rating has become irrevelant within the last few years or so.
Still haven't got to lvl 20 yet, I'm spending most of my time micro-managing my shit![]()
Spoiler warning:
FF 9 is on Gamepass. Nifty. Think I'll play it yet again!!
ff13 is better![]()
Spoiler warning:
Leech torrent clients sure have gotten interesting. Or perhaps they've always been like this, I've always ignored them.
I'm downloading a new torrent, and the original creator mentioned his connection is super slow, so it's a bit of slog. There's ~50 peers on, at 80.9% completion, and I've sorted the peer list so I can see when I occasional connect to the peer with 100%. I noticed one odd peer sitting at 83.6% though. I haven't downloaded a byte from that guy, clearly nobody has. Every 10(?) minutes or so the client disconnects and a new different torrent client running a different IP connects with the exact same completion %. How cheap do you have to be to refuse to reupload the 5GB of anime you downloaded, and instead pay for a VPN and waste your time setting up this sort of bullshit?
