Spoiler warning:
Race Across the World series 2.
A second series began airing on 8 March 2020 with five teams setting off from Chapultepec Castle in Mexico City in a race to the most southerly city in the world, Ushuaia in Argentina, covering a distance of 25,000 km in 2 months, passing through 7 checkpoints in Honduras, Panama, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, and Chile. Each racer was given £1,453 for the whole trip, roughly £26 per day. Filming started in September 2019.
Been doing a run of ER. Didn't catch it back in the day and it was supposed to be one of the best shows on. I'm a few episodes into season 6 so far. So Clooney has left now. It can be pretty intense however I find it's getting way to soap opera and focusing too much on internal politics of the hospital by now. Those first 5 seasons were great though. I'll stick with it and see what happens but not looking forward to certain characters leaving.
Also all caught up on Picard now. Kind of a love hate thing going on with it in my opinion. Neat to see a bunch of the old characters pop in from time to time but what I feared before the show began is exactly what happened as in teeny bopper MTV aspects to it and also it being rather predictable. Doesn't look too much like Star Trek anymore - it's not really that far in the future from the last TNG movie yet everything is controlled with holo-controls like Marvel movie stuff (which I hate btw) and feels more Starwarsy than Trek. Patrick looks rather shaky and too old unfortunately - should have done this ten years ago. And if they don't keep Seven on as a regular crew member then the showrunners are dumb as fuck. If they keep on going with the show I hope they have something more interesting planned and resolve the current Android nonsense soon.
Aaaaand ths weeks episode of Picard down. Can't believe it. Guess I was right. Finally a really fun episode.
