Found out more this morning. Turns out it does have a 256MBs built in sata drive. Turns out I had disconnected it absent mindedly when I first found it, thinking it was a wifi card. rebooting it, the thing has windows CE6 installed but I cant get it to log in. it just tried to connect to thier original database or network. Im going to install freeDOS on it and see what else I can do.
Get a mini pcie to usb 3.0 adaptor and swap that flash sata for a 32GB or larger stick.
Support for CE6 ended April this year, but I wouldn't be surprised if you can install win7 or something on it if you have enough drive space.
