finished uc didn't realize I was that far into I barely managed to get through it on easy no way I'm bothering with any other setting. it's a great game when you're not getting your ass filled with holes. seriously they could've toned down all the gunfights and increased the puzzles and jumping.

Never got 100% for any of those games, played Demon's Souls the most but gave up on NG+.

Haven't gotten 100% for any either. Was really close with Demons. I was on NG++ and had multiple copies of souls and probably could have come close trading everything in for all spells etc..
Dunno if I can 100% 3 though as it will take forever to grind certain items for a couple of things that have achievements, those items are easier to get through online play it looks like.
Skipped Dark Souls, but beat 2 just a little while back. Probably why I did much better on 3 since I had some recent practise. Did really well collecting items but followed a guide since I couldn't be arsed at this point with another game. Pretty good but doesn't seem anywhere near as big as 2 was. Graphics are a nice notch up though.
Think I may agree with Ace on this one being easier despite a couple previous ones under my belt. It really ramps up the difficulty 2/3rds of the way through and especially the last few boss fights too. The 2nd felt more progressive that way. Def recommend, it's not all that expensive now either and not terribly long. Dunno if I ever want to play another one whether it's 1 or anything new in the future, the games really haven't haven't changed a whole lot.

well, it has built in audio but I dont think it can be configured to work with DOS games.

I remember going to a trade show my Dad took me to when I was around 11. They had a brand new copy of Space Quest 3 running on some sort of crazy setup with 10 foot high speakers just blasting out the beginning of the game and they would restart itOne of the first games to utilize a sound card iirc.

Hmm, looking at a data sheet now. Does it have 8GB flash sata inside? I'm guessing your model doesn't have wifi so there might be 2 internal slots (one should have flash sata). Probably mini pci express, there are lots of cards and adaptors you can get for those slots.

If it does have two mini pcie slots cheapest option would be to get two mini pcie to usb 3.0 adaptors, although you can get mini pcie to pcie 1x riser with cable for alternative mounting (to fit inside slim case). Latter would mean using a pcie 1x sound card and a case mod for mounting parallel to the mb plus rear access to the audio jacks.
Converting the flash drive port to usb 3.0 would let you use a cheap stick as a hard drive, although you can probably get an adaptor to use memory cards instead. I know you can get adaptors to convert to normal sata but even putting a laptop drive in there would take up a lot of space (better off using that space for a sound card mod).
