Crazy story. I went to pick up my mom from the airport and thought I knew where it was...but ended up at some army base/private airstrip. As I was turning around I spotted a dumpster full of wires and had a look. I found a bunch of power strips, ethernet and a tiny Windows CE machine. I took home the PC and powered it up to find that it has no internal ROM. Its meant to be booted over usb, or ethernet. The first thing I had on hand was my brother's USB floppy drive so I popped in DOS6.22 for shits and giggles and it works! unreal. Booted up his copy of Hugs house of horrors and the PC speaker is awesome!
Later I grabbed an old 8GB USB drive and created a bootable dos drive with it, then put his floppy drive in the second usb slot. We've been installing floppies to the 8GB drive and playing stuff like YS1, Wolf3d, sorcerian, etc.
Its too cool...but I don't think we'll ever be able to get it running with a soundblaster or anything...:/
