Not quite the numbers I needed however, the black label one should be your best bet. ANYTHING after v. 1.0 and you are getting less and less content, starts off small.
V2 just had hot coffee taken out (but the PC version had modding disabled, community had to re-enable it), then v2.1 had some weapons cut however it also had a couple of bug fixes, like cars are supposed to get dirty over time but it didnt work in v1, then you have v2.3 which is when they started to delete music and now you have v3 and HD...those have missions cut out, weapons cut out, only have 6 tracks on each radio station pretty much and arn't worthy of being a coaster for my tea V_V. Easy way to tell is looking at your menu screen, if its JUST start game, options and exit game then you got version 1, if it says V2 ANYWHERE inside the menu then i personally wouldnt bother.

Spoiler warning:
Probably irrelevant in this case since just the inner ring is read to verify the disc. The game is actually a digital download for current gen.
Basically if you have an official disc that is BC compatible that's your license to download, instead of paying $.
In the case of GTA: SA you can use any Xbox version or Xbox 360 version for your region.
Funny thing is with Lost Odyssey I've used an Asian disc set (Hong Kong etc) which is actually NTSC-J but on 360 it has PAL compatibility (not NTSC-U though). I was surprised it took the disc ok. If it didn't it wouldn't have been a big deal as I have a PAL set too, but I'm curious to see if it does get me the Asian digital version (which has Japanese audio) or if I just get the version for my region.
