I plugged mine in before and randomly selected some titles.
Played Snake's Revenge and died within a couple of minutes
Never looked at FF7 previously, lol @ the music

This was through my 43" led so I expect someone will have a fit

Snake's Revenge is actually a good game, unlike Metal Gear 1 NES version.

I could be wrong but I think Snake's Revenge isn't cheap.
I have Metal Gear as well.

It's cold here atm tbh and where my crt is would require running another heater for a while. I just can't be bothered

I think the PAL version is worth more than that, which isn't unusual.
US games usually work out to be much more expensive anyway, and then they won't work unless you either
    A/ have a famicom and a 72 pin adapter
B/ disable the lockout chip on the PAL console.

The latter isn't a good idea because you can kill your console with that chip disabled, either by using multi carts (probably flash carts too) or there is at least one official US cart that can do the same thing iirc.

No my Sony 32" crt is in a spare room, I don't have the wood heater running tonight as it isn't super cold and I'm conserving wood...if that was running it would be heating the entire house.
I could run the split system on heat mode but that thing costs heaps to run as it's rather powerful, I only use it for cooling in summer when necessary.

I'm in the lounge atm with the door closed.

So glad I don't have to deal with this nonsense lol.

And yeah I checked on eBay after posting there are multiple options around $10 w/ shipping. Not in the best condition of course. But going up to $12 or so solves that.
