I only had trouble on my laptop in the final segment, where the game had trouble loading monsters and realizing I had killed said monsters fast enough, so some parts were stretched out far longer than need be, but it wasn't game breaking.

By the by, had no issue with Mass Effect 1 or 2, nor Alan Wake.

According to the graphs on Game Debate it should run at 720p at mid settings. As long as he doesn't have a hundred things running in the background. Can't imagine that would be any worse than the PS3.
