I can commiserate, been plenty of times when I've gone through every single game that I own and just can't bring myself to play one.

That's the problem with having so many games.

I've been playing a bunch of Witcher 2 lately.

DITTO. I took it upon myself to replay the whole franchise, right now I'm in the middle of the 3rd game. Forgot how expansive it was.

Witcher 2 put me off buying W3 for a while. Witcher 2 starts to drag toward the end of the game.

How's W3 for pacing?

How's W3 for pacing?

Solid I'd say, there are parts where it lags a little in the second act, but the payout for each major story point feels eventful.

Be warned, the maps are pretty expansive so if you're compulsive and want to try and do everything, expect to sink 60 - 100 hours into it. That being said, the world feels populated and there is a lot to do, more than the collectathon that most open world games are. I'd say the best part of the games is the different witcher contracts, most of them are all very well fleshed out in my opinion.

Being sick is the worst. Somehow, I've evaded getting sick so far, but the season is still young.
