In winter if it gets down to -3-5c locally people are all "God it's freezing" But it isn't terribly cold.
I mean you get some frost around and maybe things like the dog's water bucket will get a sheet of thin ice but nothing crazy.
Well I guess black ice is crazy But as long as you're aware that it's around you should be ok, inexperienced drivers can be caught out by it and probably drunk/drugged drivers too.

It's different, but as you get used to it I'm sure you'll find it superior like I just did. The builder thing was the first wtf moment for me. But you can expand the amount of build actions as you go, plus no fishing boats - just take them out into the water which I though was better. Same with trade caravans.

Really liking the districts and such. Plus there isn't as much emphasis on having to build farms or mines on every single tile either

Got my first ticket today. Speeding ticket. Going 45 in a 35...Thankful he dropped it down to a 40 in a 35 so I have less to pay for...But still, $87 is a LOT to pay for.

On average it gets just as cold here in the winter. It can get much worse in Southern Ontario where I used to live. Much worse.

Got my first ticket today. Speeding ticket. Going 45 in a 35...Thankful he dropped it down to a 40 in a 35 so I have less to pay for...But still, $87 is a LOT to pay for.

Automatic licence suspension here if you do 25 over, or 130 in a 110 zone (which is the max speed on freeways). You also get a conviction for excessive speed.
You were 16 over which is substantial. $87us isn't excessive, if you go 10 over braking distance is increased rather dramatically even in perfect conditions.

Yeah I didn't even think I was speeding. He was behind the 45mph sign which kinda sucked. But he wrote it down as 40mph in a 35 thank God. It's not an excessively expensive ticket but still, for my first ticket it's a big blow to me. Hopefully it doesn't affect my insurance.

Definitely the truth there. I'm doing a run right now where I just took over the Chinese, they made a surprise attack on me and I decided to just end them, no matter how much they begged.

I only had about 3 units I think when they attacked, I went and bought a few more and then trampled their poor ass.
