I don't think anyone was bent out of shape. None of us (criticizing it) see it as amazing is all. or particular When you factor in having to buy other stuff the value proposition starts getting bad unless small form factor is an absolute requirement .

You can get RF BD/DVD players here for under $100au, they have DLNA and everything. Maybe the only things they can't do are SACD and DVD-A but I don't care.
Nothing wrong with them I have one, as well as my old original player that is BD region locked (that has PS3 fat laser unit in it).

Anyone that wants SACD/DVD-A functionality already has it in something else or a standalone CD player that cost gobs of money .

65w is max though dude, it only draws what it needs. Your 5w doesn't account for a display at all, and the laptop doesn't have network or resource issues.

I probably will wait until I can get an S closer to $200 (£100-120) though.
There aren't a heap of games I need to get for it now (I already have some), but I do want it for 2x Beth games that have mods.
Also the BC factor is appealing. Replay some of my multi platform faves too (Alien Isolation, Metro Redux, probably some AC games etc).

And as I said I can always use it for 4k when I upgrade my tv.

If Sony stays on x86 (no reason they shouldn't) and doesn't offer BC on the PS5 they're full of crap.

It's old and I'm seeing conflicting info but afaik it's more efficient than atom CPU/GPU of the same gen (comparison). Less power usage but more powerful.
It's running 8GB of ram, a lot of the atoms from then couldn't even run 4GB.

got my interview done(actually got it done half an hour early). I think it went pretty well it was real simple just some talk about the place a little tour a couple questions and 2 questionnaires to fill out.
